Welcome, I’m Lucy!

It was my corporate job that forced me to find a practice that would help me with my back pain, my mounting stress and that constant feeling of overwhelm from all the demanding deadlines and long hours. Someone suggested I tried yoga, and I’ve never looked back.

Yoga became my lifeline during this challenging time: it helped ease my physical pain, but I also learned invaluable tools to navigate workplace pressure with greater calm and clarity. It helped me find balance.

This journey ignited my passion to share what I’ve learnt.

Teaching Style

I teach heartfelt yoga classes both in-person and online and I’m known for my gentle teaching style and clear delivery, I’ll leave you feeling stretched-out but relaxed. I’m so passionate about sharing my knowledge and love for Yoga to help you develop your practice. My classes bring together movement and stillness, with an emphasis on self-enquiry and finding joy.

Online Classes

I also have a library of pre-recorded classes available on the Substack platform. Each practice is under 10-minutes and will help you find a moment of calm in your busy day. With three new practices each week, there’s always something new to try.

Classes, Events & Retreats

With a focus on mindful movement, I like to combins creative flows with grounding breathwork and meditation; always encouraging you to be in the present moment, connect with yourself, and practice with self-kindness and self-compassion. My classes always finish with a powerful relaxation (Savasana) that will leave you feeling replenished and revitalised.

I offer in-person classes in Birstall and Mirfield, as well as online workshops. I also run half-day and full-day retreats, and weekend retreats abroad. I love teaching all styles of yoga but my speciality is combining Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra which provide out-of-this-world relaxation.

Qualifications

I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training in Leeds in 2022. Since then, I’ve completed further training in:

  • Hatha Yoga
  • Yin Yoga
  • Restorative Yoga
  • Yoga Nidra
  • Pregnancy Yoga

I’m also a qualified Breath Coach and Reiki practitioner.

I have also trained in Goa, India, at the Sarvaguna School, completing my 100-hour Meditation Teacher Training.

Outside of Yoga

Outside of class, I’m a proud Yorkshire lass and can often be found with a strong cuppa in hand. I love to explore and enjoy nothing more than to talk about all things travel and books.
