Monday Morning Yoga at Birstall Community Centre
Mondays can be so hectic and full of to-do lists! Start your week off with a moment or two of mindfulness. In this class, we move slowly and gently, easing ourselves into the week and letting go of any pressure or expectations of ourselves. This class is ideal for those who are new to yoga or anyone who wants to enjoy a slower-paced hour.
Monday Evening Vinyasa at Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga where one pose transitions in to the next. It encourages us to sync our movement with breath, which has many wonderful benefits including boosting our energy and mood. This fun and uplifting class will help you release stress, as well as build strength and flexibility. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.
Tuesday Mind, Body & Breath at St Mary’s Community Centre, Mirfield
Settle on your mat, press pause on the busy-ness, and tune-in. In this class, we use different breathwork techniques, mindful movement, and longer holds of postures to find stillness in our minds and bodies. There may still be a few challenging postures in there! But we approach them with a calm steadiness and options to adapt. You will leave feeling calmer, re-balanced, and reconnected with yourself. All levels of yoga experience welcome.
Wednesday Gentle Yoga to Re-Set at Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
A slower-paced class for your mid-week re-set. Leave feeling calmer and reconnected with yourself as we explore breathwork, mindful movement and longer holds of postures. This class is suitable for all levels of experience.
Thursday Vinyasa (Power Flow) at Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
Looking to build more strength or tone up? This class involves a lot of movement and body-weight exercises in fun and creative flows. Vinyasa yoga is a flowing style of yoga where one pose transitions into the next with each breath. This is a faster flowing class, so some yoga experience is useful, but if you are new to the practice you are still more than welcome to come and flow with us! It’s amazing how quickly you learn the poses.
Thursday Slow Flow to Calm at Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
Find time and space to tap into your inner sense of calm and well-being. Each week we gently move through a slow, grounding, and calming flow before settling for a guided meditation. Suitable for all-levels of yoga experience, and starting at the later time of 7.45pm, this class aims to get you ready to go home and have a great night’s sleep.
Friday Morning Yoga Flow at Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
Celebrate the end of the week with your yoga practice! With a different flow and theme each week, this class will invigorate, energise, and re-balance, allowing you to stretch out and release any tension that may have built up since Monday. Suitable for all levels of yoga experience, this is a fun class to revive and restore.
