You are invited to join me, and a wonderful group of yogis, for a weekend of yoga and relaxation (and a little adventure) in Bruges, Belgium. From Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December, we will be there just in time for the world-famous Christmas Markets! So, take some time for you before the madness of Christmas starts, and enjoy exploring the fairytale Bruges. Only a few rooms left and the Early Bird is ending soon!

I love a winter trip to visit a Christmas market; it always gets me in the festive spirit and I often pick up a gift or two! Bruges is a very special place and feels like it has stepped straight out of a fairytale. Pack some warm clothes and boots, you will have a lovely time exploring.

Arriving on Friday 29 November, we will start the retreat with a grounding and soothing yoga class to relax after your journey. You can arrive at any time during the Friday if you would like to drop your bags off and then go out and explore, the first yoga class won’t be until the evening.

On Saturday, after an uplifting yoga class and cooked veggie breakfast, you will have free-time to explore Bruges. Stock up on Christmas presents from the market and maybe enjoy a mulled wine with your lunch!

That evening, after a day of exploring, we will stretch-out and find deep relaxation with a restorative yoga workshop and Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is similar to a guided meditation, where I guide your attention around your body as you drift between being awake and asleep. There’s research to suggest that as little as 40 minutes of Nidra, is the equivalent of 3 hours sleep! You will feel fully rested. We will have a lovely evening meal and then there will be the option of taking part in a Saturday night quiz. Or, if your bed is calling you, you can head straight there to enjoy a cosy night’s sleep.

Sunday morning’s energising yoga and breakfast will set you up ready for your journey home. Check-out will be at 10.30am.

We will stay in modern accommodation and enjoy delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals. All the yoga classes, workshops, and other activities are optional – this is your retreat, you do as much, or as little as you like! Bring a good book and relax.
