Are you already feeling the changes of the season? Maybe you love this time of year with the changing of the leaves and snug afternoons calling. Maybe you find the changing from lighter days to darker nights a little more challenging. This time of year, for all of us, can feel hectic as we move towards winter. Would you like a little time to slow down and re-align, to pause and savour, as well as get ready for the next chapter of the year?

We have organised our day retreat with this in mind: two yoga workshops that will help you cultivate presence in the here and the now. Alongside this, you can expect seasonal and delicious food, time out in nature, and a workshop that will get you ready for the colder months.

Here’s what the day will look like:

  • Morning vinyasa workshop – a warming flow to get you ready for some winter wellness.
  • Mindful group walk in the pretty village of Upper Hopton and surrounding countryside (although you are more than welcome to stay at the House and enjoy some relaxation time, if you prefer)
  • Two-course lunch cooked by Leeds-based catering company FoodFrawl which will be a delicious plant-based mezze- style lunch with lots of options for you to enjoy. Followed by a tasty pud (because every lunch should have pudding).
  • Tea workshop – learn about what makes a great brew and then create your own perfect blend to take home and enjoy
  • Calming yin and restorative yoga workshop to learn techniques to soothe the nervous system. Working with the root and sacral chakras to release stagnant energy.
  • We will close with a guided Yoga Nidra to find deep rest and relaxation

It’s time to press pause and savour the season.
