My Experience at an Immersive Gong Bath

Now, you know I love a sound bath. I think they’re so powerful and every time I go to one I come out feeling better than when I went in and when I went to Laura-Beth’s sound bath, I honestly came out of it floating. She started the session by singing, and she has such a lovely voice, and gently playing the gongs (she has two called Venus and Saturn 🪐). I was so relaxed as she played and I felt like I was sinking deeper into my mat. She then came round with a smaller gong which she softly played to provide individual sound healing. She also played other instruments, including sound bowls and drums, before finishing with a beautiful poem and time for reflection.

Curious about the gongs? Here’s what Laura-Beth has to say:

Gongs are a sacred and powerful ancient instrument with the power to provide a deep sense of relaxation and a sense of peace and tranquillity within the mind and body. Allow yourself time to switch off and relax and be surrounded and bathed by the sound and vibrations of the gongs.

My aim during the Gong Bath is to guide you through an immersive meditation experience with the power of sound and vibrations from the Gongs and other vibrational instruments such as; singing bowls and tongue drums. Many people who have attended a Gong Bath have experienced many of the potential benefits such as; reduced stress, improved sleep quality, relief from anxiety, release of emotional blockages, increased focus and a deep sense of calm. Everyone’s journey throughout the experience of a Gong Bath is different and individual to what you need at the time of the session.

On Sunday 6 October, I’ll start the morning with some gentle yoga and a guided meditation to help you relax and get settled on your mat. Then Laura-Beth will take over to play you into bliss. She is fantastic and I can’t wait for you to meet her!
